Connectors Network & Serendipity Team
Promoting a culture of serendipity, a primary area of focus for the Office of the Vice President for Research, is central to connecting researchers across departments, colleges and disciplines—and with colleagues and communities outside of the University—to think creatively and cultivate new ideas.
The Office of the Vice President for Research formed the Connectors Network and Serendipity Team to identify and empower the U of M administrators, faculty, and staff that play an essential role in bringing together seemingly unrelated disciplines to foster creativity and innovation and promote collaboration.
The Connectors Network convenes monthly to foster networking among collegiate and research center staff who are involved in research advancement activities and who play an important role in spurring cross-disciplinary research within their colleges and across the U.
