OVPR's Information Technology (OVPR-IT) unit manages research database systems which streamline business processes and facilitate compliance with external regulations.
Electronic Grants Management System (EGMS)
EGMS is a series of databases with a web front-end that you can use to complete proposal forms for submission to sponsors and University forms related to sponsored projects or research. Go to the Office of Sponsored Project's informational page about EGMS.
Effort Certification and Reporting Tool (ECRT)
Effort Certification and Reporting Tool. The ECRT system is a web-based technology designed to help researchers comply with the provisions of the University's effort reporting policies, federal policy OMB Circular A-21 section J.10., NIH Salary Limitation on Grants, and other relevant agency policies that govern the need to provide certification of an individual's effort pursuant to his/her sponsored and nonsponsored programs. eResearch Central is a central location where researchers and their staff can access the University's electronic documents and forms associated with research, sponsored projects, and research-related compliance. Go to eResearch Central.
eProtocol provides a common tool for principal investigators, research staff, and committee members to prepare, submit, review, and communicate about research protocols. Go to IACUC's informational page about eProtocol, the Office of Biotechnology Activities Oversight (OBAO/IBC) informational page about eProtocol, or directly to the eProtocol system.
Ethical Oversight Submission System (ETHOS)
