24 U of M Researchers Named Among World's Most Cited in 2025

The 2025 Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researchers list features 24 faculty members from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, placing them among the world's most influential scientific minds. To qualify for this prestigious honor, researchers must have authored multiple papers ranking in the top one percent of citations for their field and publication year over the past decade.

Highlighting the University's wide-ranging research excellence, the 2025 cohort represents seven diverse academic units: the College of Biological Sciences, the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, the Institute on the Environment, the College of Liberal Arts, the Medical School, and the College of Science and Engineering.
