Multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are supporting the UMN Clinical and Translational Science Institute's (CTSI) efforts to find better, faster ways to bring scientific advances to real-world use. One is a seven-year award, among the largest federal research grants the UMN has ever received, and the University’s third Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA). The awards reinforce UMN’s role as a top research university, strengthen the research infrastructure across the University and beyond, and augment what Minnesota researchers and Minnesota communities can accomplish.
