The Research and Innovation Office (RIO) at the University of Minnesota will house the National Office for the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Regional Resilience Innovation Incubator (NSF R2I2) program.
Backed by a two-year, $2 million NSF award, the NSF R2I2 National Office will serve as the central hub for the nationwide network of funded R2I2 teams who are translating cutting-edge research into practical solutions to promote community resilience. The office will provide coordination, share expertise, and connect teams with partners across sectors.
With NSF’s support, the University is positioned to build the framework for a stronger, more resilient future across the country.
