This course explores the cost sharing life cycle, its main phases and certain processes and procedures of each, and the roles and duties of individuals and entities involved in each phase and across the life cycle. Additionally, students will learn about different University financial system reports to monitor and reconcile sponsored and cost sharing expenses. Also touched upon are retention time(s) for sponsored financial records.

The prerequisite for this course is the SP05 Cost Sharing Fundamentals online course, of which provides a foundation for terms, policies, regulations, roles and responsibilities, and various processes involved with cost sharing at the University.
