Tech Comm offers a unique opportunity for those with an advanced degree who are interested in technology commercialization, intellectual property and business development to gain valuable experience in technology transfer, marketing and licensing. The Technology Commercialization Fellow will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Technology Licensing Officers to market and license technologies as well as facilitate industry research partnerships. The position will provide tuition benefits and the flexibility to pursue an MBA, if of interest, while working at Tech Comm.

Duluth Tech Comm Scout
In partnership with Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) and University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), this opportunity is for students working towards an advanced degree who are interested in technology commercialization, intellectual property, and business development to gain valuable experience in technology transfer, marketing, and licensing. The UMD Tech Comm Scout is a part time position and will work closely with those involved in evaluation, marketing/licensing, and business development, and facilitation of industry research partnerships of UMD and NRRI technologies. It is expected that this position will require significant time spent in Duluth at both the UMD campus and NRRI.
