9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This three-hour, hands-on workshop will look at the different standards for storing spatial data (shapefiles, databases, and file formats) and will assess the advantages and disadvantages of each format. We will use SQL commands to query and visualize vector data. With this information, you will be able to better manage and work with your spatial data. The workshop uses Carto, a web-based database and visualization application.
