Marci Freundschuh
RIO Funding and Awards Manager
Marci Freundschuh leads the RIO Funding and Awards unit within the Research Development Office. She works closely with RIO leadership to develop new grant opportunities and oversees the RIO grant and award programs throughout the year. Marci also specializes in managing the post-award activities for all of RIO’s grant programs and spearheads various process improvement projects.
She began her career at the University of Minnesota in the Office of the Registrar, later moving to the Graduate School, where she managed the Student Services Office. For over 15 years, Marci has focused on research grant administration.
