Robyn Kennedy
RIO Funding and Awards Coordinator
Robyn Kennedy is the RIO Grants and Awards Coordinator in the RDO. She has been working to help coordinate RIO internal grant programs for over 15 years, specializing in assisting researchers through the pre-award activities of submitting proposals. Robyn also manages the recruitment of internal review teams and coordinates the subsequent reviews.
In addition, she frequently collaborates with the rest of the Funding and Awards team to design and launch new internal grant programs as requested by the Vice President for Research and Innovation. Robyn serves as the administrator for the Council of Research Associate Deans (CRAD) group and is the RIO representative to the Research Advancement and Development Professionals Network (RADPN). She previously helped coordinate the UMN Limited Submissions program and currently acts as a valuable backup for that program.
