Steve Graham

Data Management

Steve Graham has been working in the field of geographic information sciences (GIS) since 2000. He joined the University of Minnesota in 2008 as a research associate. He holds a PhD in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin concerned with GIS and global hydrology. 

He has had experience with both primary and secondary data, in both aspatial as well as spatially enabled (raster and vector) data formats. He has worked on projects in areas such as watershed modeling, climate, hazard mitigation, ecological identification, archaeological site mapping, field data collection, and optimal site selection. Steve has worked with interdisciplinary research teams including areas such as political science, education, geology, sociology, civil engineering, geography, biology, archaeology, and demography.
