Nico Mesyngier, Ph.D.

Nico Mesyngier joined Technology Commercialization in February 2024. In his role, Nico works closely with Technology Portfolio Managers and Technology Licensing Officers to evaluate, market, and license technology, as well as with the Venture Center to support early-stage start-ups.

Before joining Technology Commercialization, Nico completed a Postdoc at UMN focused on expanding Digital In-Line Holography tools to biomedical spaces. He completed his doctoral work at the University of Michigan in Mechanical Engineering, conducting his research on microfluidic biosensors within an analytical chemistry group. Nico also has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Pennsylvania State University.
