Biotech Startup Spun Out of U of M Raises $1.9M

University of Minnesota startup Hennepin Life Sciences recently closed on nearly $1.9 million in angel-investor funding.

"Hennepin Life Sciences launched in 2009 based on research by two former University of Minnesota professors, Patrick Schlievert and Marnie Peterson. The company has raised a total of $3.5 million since then, including from angel-investor group Gopher Angels."
