EGMS is currently being modified to calculate the new F&A stepped increases. For proposals with all budget years starting on July 1st the EGMS system is calculating the rates correctly for the stepped increases in 2017 and 2018. For all other EGMS generated proposals EGMS is not prorating the budget periods properly to include the new F&A steps. Instead, it is taking the rate in effect on the first day of the budget period and using it throughout the budget period. We expect this problem to be resolved shortly, until EGMS is revised to correctly calculate the stepped increases you should use the attached spreadsheet to calculate your F&A totals. A notification will be sent out when the EGMS modification is in place.
