On September 30 Congress passed and President Biden signed a short-term continuing resolution (CR) to continue funding the federal government at the previous year’s level until November 17. Congress will need to pass year-long appropriations or another CR by then or face another shutdown threat. SPA and Government and Community Relations are monitoring the situation and its implications for federally supported projects and programs at UMN.
