University President Eric Kaler recently discussed the U's statewide impact during a meeting hosted by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
Research, especially that focused on water quality and addressing the challenges of aquatic invasive species, has a visible impact in the Brainerd lakes area, Kaler said.
The University is represented in all corners of the state by its research efforts, the University president noted, but also its people.
