The University of Minnesota’s Grant-in-Aid of Research, Artistry, and Scholarship Program supports the University’s strategic plan MPact 2025 and academic excellence through the promotion of research, scholarly, and artistic activities of faculty throughout the University. Administered through the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Grant-in-Aid program provides seed funding for a wide range of projects in seven funding categories, including a Multicultural Research category.
Note: We are especially interested in supporting entrepreneurial or collaborative projects that could result in near term impact.

Jan. 31, 2022 Deadline for applications to be routed to approvers
Feb. 3, 2022 Deadline for approvers to submit final applications to OVPR
