The Certified Approver Advisory Committee (CAAC) serves as a liaison between the Certified Approver User Group and OVPR's Risk Intelligence and Compliance Team (RIACT). CAAC consists of seven members who represent Certified Approvers at both the collegiate and department levels. Each member serves a two-year term through an election held by the Certified Approvers. The CAAC chair is appointed on an annual basis.
Staff members from RIACT, Sponsored Projects Administration, and Sponsored Financial Reporting offices serve as resources for CAAC in an ex-officio capacity. CAAC Operating Principles.
Certified Approver Advisory Committee members:
- Attend monthly meetings to facilitate the functioning of CA program
- Serve as chair of a subcommittee
- Plan and conduct continuing education events
CAAC Meetings & Member Information
CAAC meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month, 1:00-2:30pm via zoom.
